I mean the furniture is fabulous and the store was amazing, full of color, wonder and all kinds of goodies. But I was also pretty jazzed at spending an evening with some pretty cool ladies.
However, first I had to pull together an outfit.
It was hot as blazes last week so I couldn't imagine wearing pants in the slightest and just wanted to be light, airy and comfortable.
Yet, effortlessly chic. Because yeah, in my mind that's how I roll. In reality most days I'm a hot mess and there is nothing effortless or chic about it but I was determined to pull off that vibe.
And I think I might have!
Those wonderful lace shorts made yet another appearance (are you sick of them yet?) but this time I went a little more dressy with metallic pumps and my floral blazer.
Loving this blazer even more now! At first I was a little skeptical because it's cropped in the back and I didn't know if it looked stupid or not with the darker blue shirt hanging down. But in the end I said 'to hell with it' and feigned total outfit confidence when I walked in the door.
Blazer: Target / Shorts: Free People via T.J. Maxx (similar) / Top: Nordstrom Rack / Shoes: Target
Clutch: H&M (old)
I'm glad I did. I got a ton of compliments on the complete look but as always everyone is loving these shorts!! So glad I broke down and got them in both colors!!
I also made a friend , Dee, who apparently has the same sartorial taste buds as I do!! Twins!!
Thanks to Pink On The Cheek for taking my photos!!!
